Thank you Taylor's University!

"Get the job, Keep it" - that was the topic of our talk in Taylor's University. What a way to kick- off 1Thinking activities for the year. The talk was organized by their Hospitality faculty and was open to other faculty and we had over 80 students attending the talk. The main points that was covered generally surrounding preparation of resume, tips for interview, finding the right job and sustaining within the career world. With a great combination of being in a lovely campus with wonderful students, we all had a good time.

The speakers during the event was:

We were treated to lunch hosted by their hospitality students and served by students at Truffles Restaurant by the campus's lakeside. Hope to have more fun with the students there in the future, thank you Taylor's University

I know 1Thinking group have been quiet for some time as most of our key members have been occupied with day to day work. However we're kicking off 2012 with a lot of planned talks and to to start, we'll be at the below talk:

The objectives of organizing this talk are:

1.      To assist fresh graduates in acquiring and maintaining their jobs once they stepout into the real working environment

2.      To provide graduates with a different point of view on how the industry works

3.      To acquire tips on going for an interview & how to sell ourselves
